Catalog description
Examines the nature of real estate transactions and how they apply to ownership, titles, legal descriptions, uses, contracts, leases, taxation, and values. Includes marketing, advertising, contracts, financing and property management. Prepares students to qualify for the Illinois Real Estate Brokers Examination. (Note: The State of Illinois requires individuals to be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent before sitting for the state exam.) Prerequisite(s): None. (PCS 1.2, 3 credit hours - 3 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
