Catalog description
Develops the reading skills necessary for the successful completion of college courses. Emphasizes steps readers can take before, during, and after reading to increase comprehension and retention. Focuses on how to organize materials and thoughts in written summaries and oral presentations. <BR>Prerequisite: C or better in READ 120 or placement by exam. <BR>(PCS 1.4, 3 credit hours: 3 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
