Catalog description

Familiarizes students with the bankruptcy system and the United States Bankruptcy Code. Students will gain an understanding and working knowledge of the different types of bankruptcies and the specific steps taken to complete the bankruptcy process, including completion of the documents required to conduct these processes. Creditors' rights will also be explored. <BR>Prerequisite: None. <BR>(PCS 1.2, 3 credit hours; 3 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
