Catalog description
A calculus-based introduction to classical electrodynamics. Topics include electrostatics, direct current (DC) circuits, magnetostatics, electromagnetic induction, alternating current (AC) circuits, Maxwell's equations, and electromagnetic waves. Prerequisite: C or better in PHYS 141. (PCS 1.1, 5 credit hours: 4 hours lecture, 3 hours lab)
