Catalog description
Assists students in the improvement of their cardiovascular fitness through walking. Introduces fundamental walking skills and techniques, along with strategies, safety, and etiquette associated with walking. Analyzes the mental and physical health benefits from walking, along with personal fitness components such as cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, flexibility, body composition, balance, coordination, and agility. <BR>Prerequisite: None. <BR>(PCS 1.1, 1 credit hour; 0 hours lecture, 2 hour lab)
