Introduces the study of Pro Tools recording software including hard disk recording and Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI).Includes principles of sound synthesis, signal routing, mixing, editing, plug-in operations, virtual instruments and MIDI sequencing. <BR>Prerequisite: None. <BR>(PCS 1.1, 3 credit hours: 3 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
