Catalog description
Analyzes the tools and the penetration testing methodologies to better understand how to protect computer networks. Students will gain knowledge of footprinting and social engineering, port scanning, hacking web servers and wireless networks, and protecting networks with security devices. <BR>Prerequisite: ITEC 142 and ITEC 160. <BR>(PCS 1.2, 3 credit hours: 3 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
