Catalog description
Fulfills one of ten requirements towards certification as a basic firefighter through the Office of the State Fire Marshal. Includes instruction on ladders, hose and appliances, nozzles and streams, water supply, forcible entry, and ventilation. Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in FIRE 142 and FIRE 183. (PCS 1.2, 3 credit hours: 2 hours lecture, 2 hours lab)
