Catalog description

Part of the industrial firefighting curriculum designed specifically for those firefighters involved in industrial emergency response. Includes fire behavior, extinguishing agents, apparatus, equipment, hose handling techniques and live fire exercises. This course is repeatable three times. The amount of credit awarded shall be one credit hour each time the student successfully completes the course. The maximum number of credits that will apply to electives in the fire science certificate program shall be four credits. <BR>Prerequisite: Must be a member of an industrial fire brigade. <BR>(PCS 1.2, 1 credit hour: 1 hour lecture, 0 hours lab)
