DC: Fund in Electricity

Catalog description
Introduces the fundamental properties and applications of electricity including the basics of current, voltage, and resistance, the application of Ohm's Law and the construction of circuits to verify electronic theory. Safety procedures are emphasized. Teaches solder connections, recognition and repair of bad solder connections, and selection and cleaning of soldering tools. Corrections to electronic problems using troubleshooting techniques are covered. <BR>Prerequisite: None. <BR>(PCS 1.2, 3 credit hours; 2 hours lecture, 2 hours lab)
