Catalog description

Provides the fundamentals of general nutrition with emphasis on the interrelationship between nutrition and oral health. Examines current, relevant topics specific to different life stages and states of health. <BR>Prerequisite: Admission to Dental Hygiene Program and a grade of C or better in BIOL 141, BIOL 142, CHEM 130, DENT 231, and DENT 232. <BR>(PCS 1.2, 2 credit hours: 2 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
