Catalog description
Emphasizes dental office infection control and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. Also includes the importance of proper chair-side dental assisting techniques and procedures in operative and specialty areas and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment. <BR>Prerequisite: Admission to the Dental Assisting Program. <BR>(PCS 1.2, 3 credit hours: 2 hours lecture, 3 hours lab)
