Catalog description
Includes the theoretical principles and biological effects of radiation. Stresses correct methods of exposing, processing, and mounting intraoral and extraoral radiographs for diagnostic purposes. Includes principles of digital and extraoral radiography, and radiographic interpretation. <BR>Prerequisite: Admission to the Dental Assisting Program. <BR>(PCS 1.2, 3 credit hours: 2 hours lecture, 3 hours clinical lab)
