Catalog description

Acquaints students with essential computer hardware components and their specifications and guides them in the use of operating systems and file management as they learn word processing, spreadsheet, database management, and presentation software. The Internet will be used as a valuable resource throughout this course, including the use of search engines, email, and cloud storage. (Keyboarding recommended.) Prerequisite(s): None. (PCS 1.1, 3 credit hours - 2 hours lecture, 2 hours lab)
