Catalog description

The course focuses on improving students' reading and writing skills while reviewing and deepening knowledge of Arabic grammar and vocabulary. This course is primarily intended for students minoring in Arabic and is a sequel to WLAN 35500 Arabic Reading and Writing 1. Through this course, students will develop more intense facility in reading and writing Arabic, expand their vocabulary base, learn more idiomatic expressions, and read and write more difficult prose. It is also intended for heritage speakers of Arabic who want to develop facility in reading and writing in Arabic, expand their vocabulary, and the repertoire of grammatical structures.
