Catalog description

This 3-credit introductory Korean provides students with foundational skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Korean. The course emphasizes communicative competence and cultural literacy, enabling students to engage in basic conversations and understand essential aspects of Korean society. Through interactive activities, multimedia resources, and cultural explorations, students will develop a practical understanding of the Korean language and culture. Not open to students with a background in Korean. No pre-requisites are required.
