Catalog description
The second part of the introductory German course. Students completing the course demonstrate Novice Mid/High level of proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension. In addition to language skills, students explore accepted cultural practices, patterns of behavior and communication, cultural products, and popular beliefs, values, attitudes in Germany within the scope of themes covered during the semester. Not open for students with more than 1 year of high-school/college German or native speakers of German.
