In this course, students will learn the definitions and critiques of the concept of wicked problems, develop an understanding of one or more wicked problem and how it is situated within the social and cultural context, and use critical and creative thinking skills to propose innovative solutions. Analyses of the wicked problems will draw on three or more relevant disciplinary perspectives, such as sociology, political science, psychology, natural sciences, theology, and philosophy. This course is limited to students participating in the Lewis University Honors Program.
