Catalog description
This capstone provides an integrative experience for the Disability Studies Minor, offering students an opportunity to synthesize coursework and field experience. Students review and evaluate theory, models of practice, research, and lived experience to develop their understanding of the ways Disability Studies pertains to personal, spiritual, local, regional, and global contexts. The course culminates in a major integrative project (e-portfolio, public presentation, major paper, or equivalent) linking Disability Studies with a student’s academic major and future professional aspirations.
