Catalog description

Students will learn about the nature and the function of the Roman Catholic Church (ecclesiology) through a study of the Second Vatican Council. Students will learn to outline the historical, ecclesiastical, and ecclesiological contexts in which the documents of the Second Vatican Council were created. Additionally, students will analyze and evaluate the major documents of the council from a theological perspective with considerations of the reception and implementation of the major ideas of the council.
