Catalog description

The jazz band rehearses and performs selections from a variety of jazz repertoires. Emphasis is placed on developing ensemble performance skills, improvisational skills, and the development of sight-reading. The ensemble regularly performs at concerts and other events. This ensemble is open to both majors and nonmajors. Course may be repeated for credit.
