This course is designed to be taken alongside Calculus 1 and provides students with the essential algebraic, precalculus, and problem‑solving skills needed for success in calculus. Through just‑in‑time instruction, targeted practice, and conceptual reinforcement, students strengthen foundational skills while applying them directly to the topics covered in Calculus 1. Emphasis is placed on functions, algebraic manipulation, modeling, graph interpretation, and mathematical reasoning. The course supports students in developing confidence, persistence, and effective study strategies for college‑level mathematics.
