Catalog description

Students gain practical research experience by setting up experiments, testing hypotheses, collecting data, reporting results, and forming conclusions from their analyses. Research projects can be a continuation of pre-existing research projects or student-inspired. Successful projects are expected to be presented at scientific meetings and/or submitted for publication. This course is intended for Biology and Environmental Science majors only. The course may apply only once to satisfy degree requirements.
