Topics include; the history of diagnostic medical sonography, sonographic terminology, knobology, biomechanics, ergonomics, scope of practice, accreditation processes, medical ethics, medical law, maintaining health records, pharmacology, infection control, patient transfer methods, obtaining patient history, and vital signs.
