Catalog description

This course involves the introduction of the principles set for in FAA Order 7110.65. Separation minima for radar and non-radar operations will discussed, learned, and applied as part of the controller's responsibilities along with radar identification, beacon systems, radar approaches and departures, and aircraft separation. Students will begin to separate aircraft in the approach and departure control environment utilizing Air Traffic Control radar simulation.
