Catalog description

This course focuses on interface design through the creation of a consistent visual language for interface appearance and usability. This course introduces students to design, prototyping and evaluation of user interfaces in relation to Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). The course will cover human capabilities (mental models and interface metaphors), interface technology (interface styles and paradigms), interface design methods (user personas, prototyping and design) and interface evaluation (user testing and feedback). The course will utilize various prototyping tools for digital simulations.
