Catalog description

Design Thinking (first half): Introduces students to various approaches and methods used to successfully solve difficult, multi-dimensional problems. Industry examples will be used to show process, ideation and results. Students will explore various creative problem-solving tactics that can be applied to future coursework. Research Methods (second half): Introductory course for students to learn and explore various design research practices. Different creative strategies and tactics in design research will be presented in context to actual case studies.
