Catalog description

This course introduces basic emergency medical care and covers many aspects of prehospital emergencies. Topics include preparatory, patient assessment, airway, medical, trauma, and operations. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve North Carolina State or National Registry EMT certification.
