Catalog description
This course will introduce students to the visual design process which could be used in theatre, architecture, film and/or fashion design. Design elements will be explored including form, style, composition, line, shade, tone and quality. Students will discover multiple mediums (watercolors, gouache, chalk pastels, oil pastels, colored pencils, etc.) and their uses within the design process. Students will also learn the importance of visual research as it relates to a specific concept. Additional fee required. (F)
