Catalog description
This course will introduce students to the process of scientific observation and analysis through the study of our universe. Topics include the 8 planets and associated bodies; the Sun, other stars, and their production of energy; the Milky Way and further galaxies; and the large-scale structure and evolution of the universe. Emphasis is placed on scientific reasoning, obversational evidence, and the historical development of our understanding.
