Catalog description

The theory and practice of communication in contexts will be addressed. Presenting a variety of speeches is a major part of this course. There will be an emphasis on proficiency in message organization, delivery, and critical thinking. Managing and preventing nervousness/anxiety as it relates to speaking in public and life in general will be covered. (Experiential Learning)
