The Forgotten Victim

This course is designed to introduce students to the topic of victimology. Students will examine how victimization is impacted by the media, law enforcement, the public, and unique characteristics such as celebrity status and conspiracy theories. The concepts of victim blaming and victim defending will also be heavily applied.
