Catalog description
This course is an introduction to interviews and essential communication skills used by criminal justice personnel. Students will learn fundamental techniques for interviewing criminal suspects, witnesses, victims and children involved in crime. Emphasis is placed on conducting these interviews in a legal, efficient and professional manner while securing the truth from those involved in the crime. (F Even)
