Catalog description

A course designed to introduce students to the principles and strategies used in career and life planning. Topics of discussion include self-interest inventory and assessment, decision-making skills, resume writing, internship and employment opportunities, goal setting, interview skills, personal and professional wellness, graduate school preparation, personal finance management, domestic and international work environments, and life beyond college planning. CLA 299 is required of all second year students but is open to any student who has an interest in the course.
