Catalog description
A course designed to challenge students to introduce students to the rigor of academic life in college through engagement with a broad topic or question chosen by the instructor. This course invites students to explore new ideas, engage with complex issues, and become active learners. As part of the course requirements, students will attend Common Programs throughout the semester, hosted by the Burton Center for Student Success. Required of all first-year students during their first semester of enrollment.
