Writing Lab

Catalog description

Writing Lab is designed to provide structured academic reading and writing support for multilingual students enrolled in a WRT course. Through reading discussions, guided workshops, extended peer review experiences, and one-on-one instruction, students will develop their competence and confidence in close reading, critical analysis, intellectual honesty, and revision. To guide this focus on practice, students will also reflect deeply on their linguistic and cultural identities, their identities as writers, their writing process, and ways to improve their writing abilities. This is a 5-week course that will meet twice per week. Co-requisites: WRT 100 or WRT 101 .
