Intro to Research Methods

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide a working knowledge of the major research and data collection methods used in psychology. Topics will include the scientific method approach to research, ethics, and experimental design. Students will acquire proficiency in APA style writing, information and technological literacy, understanding basic statistical analyses, and the critical evaluation of evidence that includes academic and popular presentations of psychological science. prerequisite MTH 110 ; taking MTH 112 prior to or with PSY 201 is recommended.
