Catalog description

This course focuses on the application of theory to practice of community health nursing. The emphasis is on the influence of the community for the health of individuals, families, and groups. Evidence-based findings are critically examined and applied in the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. Utilizing innovative community-based resources available for nursing practice, students complete a clinical practicum.
