Systems Analysis and Design

Catalog description

This course introduces students to system development methodologies for both enterprise and AI-driven information system solutions that can automate or augment business processes efficiently and/or that can help implement business strategies effectively. Particularly, it will focus on the analysis and design stage of the systems development life cycle. Students will learn to analyze business processes and uncover automation opportunities and data needs. Students will learn to utilize conventional and AI-powered tools to gather, document, and communicate functional and non-functional requirements for enterprise and AI-driven business systems and produce analysis and design artifacts.
