Catalog description

This course introduces students to Systems Analysis and Design (SA&D) principles for both enterprise information systems and AI-driven solutions. Students will learn to analyze organizational processes, uncover business requirements, and document workflows in order to identify automation opportunities and data needs. Through hands-on exercises, they will practice creating key SA&D artifacts (e.g., UML diagrams, requirements documentation) while exploring the potential of AI integration and automation tools to streamline processes and enhance system capabilities. The course balances foundational analysis and design techniques with practical insights into AI-enabled applications, preparing students to contribute effectively to modern system development projects.
