Catalog description

This initial course aims to establish a framework for educational research, professional writing, and evidence-based thinking and practices for all MSED students. Following step-by-step, systematic inquiry, the course provides the knowledge and skills needed to effectively review literature, gather and analyze empirical data, and use the findings to inform their classroom teaching or practices in other professions. Through designing and conducting a series of research studies, MSED students get to explore various topics pertaining to their professions.
