If you think concerns about environmental sustainability are only for a select few, think again. Being one of 8 billion people striving for a "good life," it's worth considering how you fit into the broader world regardless of your major and career plans. We live on a finite planet with limited resources to go around. How do we choose to use those resources? What are the impacts of our choices? What options do we have to live more sustainably? Why does sustainability matter? How can you use your knowledge and talents to build a brighter future for yourself and everyone else? This class will explore answers to these questions and more through an interdisciplinary approach that seeks to improve the outlook for us, our fellow species, and our planet.
