Catalog description

Designed for students who are pursuing a career in one of the medical fields, this course will focus on the study of the Latin and Greek roots that form the basis of most medical and scientific vocabulary. The practical aim of the course is to allow the student who is preparing for one of the medical professions to enhance greatly his or her acquisition of medical terminology. This course will also investigate the origin, ideas, and practice of ancient science and medicine. (NOTE: THIS COURSE IS PART OF THE UNYLC FOREIGN LANGUAGE CONSORTIUM. HOST SCHOOL IS SIENA.
