Inorganic and Materials Laboratory

Catalog description

The goal of the inorganic laboratory is to give students experience with a range of techniques used in the synthesis and characterization of inorganic compounds, the analysis of various classes of inorganic compounds and types of bonding encountered in the study of this compound class. Students will be given additional experience using quantitative techniques of chemical analysis to which they were exposed in pre-requisite courses and introduced to additional techniques that are widely used for chemical analysis.
