Taxation of Corporations

Catalog description

Introduction to the fundamental concepts and strategy of the federal income taxation of corporations, and how the strategies influence business decisions. While the course focuses on learning and applyng the current tax laws, emphasis is placed on the research skills necessary to determine the current state of the law and special emphasis is placed on integrating tax rules into planning decisions. Prerequisite(s): 310 or permission of Chair/Program Director.
