Economic analysis of market systems, price theory, including supply and demand analysis, marginal utility, elasticity, cost and revenue concepts, perfect and imperfect competition, international trade theory, pricing of the factors of production, poverty and income inequalities. 54 hours lecture. ADGE: 4; Transfer: CSU, UC; Cal-GETC: 4; C-ID# ECON 201. Prerequisite: Elementary Algebra or a higher level of mathematics.
