This course covers various movement forms with an emphasis on rhythm, style and proper techniques. Students will learn a variety of jazz phrases and will be expected to choreograph and perform a jazz dance at the advanced beginning/intermediate level by the end of the semester. 54 hours laboratory. AD GE: 7; Transfer: CSU, UC.
