Catalog description

This course focuses on the key tasks needed to become a full time Linux Administrator and to validate those skills via the Red Hat Certified System Administrator exam. This course goes deeper into Enterprise Linux administration including filesystems and partitioning, logical volumes, Computer Science 123 Computer Science SELinux, fire-walling, BASH script development and troubleshooting. Students may receive credit for CNT 7402 or CS 3, but not both. 45 hours lecture, 27 hours laboratory. Transfer: CSU.
