Catalog description

Further development of American Sign Language (ASL) receptive/expressive skills and knowledge learned in ASL 1B. Emphasis on conversational skills in functional situations, continued vocabulary expansion and knowledge of deaf culture and the deaf community. Prerequisite: ASL 1B (completed with a grade of “C” or higher). 54 hours lecture. ADGE: 3; Transfer: CSU, UC; Cal- GETC: 3B. Prerequisite: ASL 1B with a minimum grade of C.
