Catalog description

This course introduces students to the concept and application of Three- dimensional design and spatial composition, including the study of the 72 Art Art elements and organizing principles of design as they apply to three- dimensional space and form. Students will develop a visual vocabulary and skill set for creative expression with three-dimensional projects using 3D modeling software (including modeling, texture mapping, and animation) in addition to physical projects using traditional materials. 27 hours lecture, 81 hours laboratory. Transfer: CSU, UC; C-ID# ARTS 101.
